RunForIt 4.0 - Miracle Babies

Sunday 28th November, 2021 was our fourth and final event for the year and hit close to home for many of us. Featuring our dear friends Chloe, Kieran and their son Edric, it was an event we frequently look back on to this day.

Kieran and Chloe experienced complications with the birth of their first son Edric, which ultimately culminated in a beautiful success story. Edric even celebrated his 1st Birthday near Event 4.0. 

Chloe recommended Miracle Babies Foundation for our final event and the community really got around this one, particularly after hearing Edric's story.

We managed to raise $3,003 for Miracle Babies and spread the word about the wide range of difficulties that can occur during the birth of a child. Having been along for the ride with Kieran and Chloe, Cam was choked up but Chloe was a rock and shared their story exceptionally well in front of our amazing community. 

The crew ran from the iconic Brisbane Powerhouse out toward Hamilton and back before making their way across New Farm Park to be looked after by the team at Joedy's Cafe.
