Olivia is an artist based in Meanjin/Brisbane. Her predominant mediums are painting, photography and installation art.
Her practice is focused on the idea of a sense of place, experienced in South-East Queensland. Many of her artworks aim to highlight and evoke the enjoyable qualities of the surrounding Australian environment and our connection to community. Olivia will often use imagery of familiar scenes combined with bright colours to induce the nostalgia associated with these places.
Interested and motivated by the outdoors, exercise, and a sense of community, Olivia has naturally become involved in RunForIt and is the mind behind our latest merch drop!
The goal of her design was to create a trippy, psychedelic design that is eye-catching on the road.
MORE THAN ENOUGH
A simple reminder.
A reminder to appreciate yourself unconditionally. The motivation to see the positive side of our most difficult qualities and truly value them, yourself and others as enough.
You will feel disappointment.
You will feel dissatisfaction.
There will be fear.
But in these times when we can be overly self-critical, we need to be overly compassionate and remember that we are more than enough.
